Above is a little yard sign that I bought in Canton several years ago. The weather was very rough on it, so it no longer has a stake, is missing some ghosts, but is still cute and now sits inside on my cookbook stand.
I made the corrugated pumpkin last year, made the sign "Good Ghouls Get Goodies" this year, and made the stacked pumpkin man this year too.

I made this little monster frame this year. It's pretty fitting of our little guy!
This is very hard to see, but there are giant spiders wrapped around the iron of this mirror. I made three small canvases that spell out "EEK!" I found the feather boas at the Dollar Tree and stapled it to a fun orange ribbon and tied it to the mirror.

I got this idea from Shannon. I remember loving her plaque from a few years ago, so I decided to make one of my own. I found a scrap piece of wood in the garage, and voila! (Don't tell, but I also painted the back side with "December 25". It's never too early to think of Christmas!)
AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!! Look at this adorable CAKE! The bread and cheese as well as the stock pot are all CAKE! The top of the pot is covered in a jelly and then jelly beans to actually make it look like ratatouille! Even the mouse is edible, made out of rice krispie treats and covered in fondant! The fondant even tasted delish!
I seriously could not get over the cake! She even covered the base with fondant and made it look like planks of wood and nail holes. It looked like it was sitting on it's own table! SO CUTE!
This sign greeted us as we entered the front door.

I would say our bedroom is long and skinny. The color on the walls is called Hint of Gold (can't remember who the manufacturer was though). The furniture was a wedding present from my husband! I still love it. I know that most people sleep in a king sized bed, but this bed has sentimental value to me, so I am fine with a queen. The GIANT clock on the wall is one of my favorite pieces in the house! It was a gift from my mom last Christmas and I just love it! It was the perfect accessory to that space. No, it doesn't work-- the hands are not movable-- so it is always 10:20 in our bedroom. My husband sometimes jokes about that! The 2 chairs in front of our bed were purchased at a 2nd hand store in a little town near the Oklahoma border. They were $35 for the pair, so I couldn't pass them up. I had them covered in a coordinating fabric to match our room.
Our master looks out into our back yard, just beyond that bay window. Those two skinny iron door things on either side of our dresser are from Pottery Barn. They, too, were a Christmas gift a few years back. They are not my favorite pieces, but I have had many, many things hanging on either side of the dresser, and these look the best, so I guess they'll stay a little while longer. My mom gave me the wall word above the dresser one year for Christmas. It took me forever and a day to hang it, but I finally did and I think it works. There is an armoire just to the left of this picture, but the photographer didn't photograph it. We got it for FREE and it matches the rest of the furniture pretty well, but not exactly. I am usually not a fan of putting furniture in front of windows, but since this room is so long and skinny, there was no other way to arrange our furniture when we got the armoire (which we really needed). It works pretty well in here and doesn't bother me too much.
The only pic I got of Rhett (in the red in the background), this was the only time he was still, while watching the planes take off!
He overslept, so he had to eat in the car, and his hair was still wet when we arrived!
I know this pic is blurry, but when we were leaving our session to go get our kiddos, we could hear squeals and laughter coming from the classrooms, and they sounded all too familiar. When I turned the corner, the class were chasing bubbles. Rhett was having so much fun, that he collided with another little boy and they both ended up on the ground. See that plaid blur, that's my baby!
