Easter 2012

These photos loaded all sorts of crazy out of order, so I'll just let them speak for themselves.  Our Easter 2012.

 We planted magic Easter "beans"

We dyed Easter eggs and left them out with a carrot for the bunny

Proof that the bunny came: he ate some of the carrot.
And the magic "beans" grew into lollipops.
The bunny left the kiddos some goodies

1st Blastball Game

My little guy started Blastball last month!  I am so proud of him!  His soccer season was less than thrilling for him and us alike, so I was very apprehensive about signing him up for another sport again.  I was just planning on waiting a few years for him to mature and for him to show an interest.  But, a little friend from school asked us if we would sign Rhett up with their son, so I obliged.  I am so glad that I did!  While he is not the best player on the team, he does show promise...MUCH more than soccer.  He seems to enjoy his time out there, and that is what matters!  So, fingers crossed, to a great season!

SO PROUD OF YOU, RHETT!

10 Months

This little sweetie turned 10 Months Old on Thursday, the 5th!

At 10 months, Miss Gentry has turned into a little chatterbox!  She can say: mama, dada, night night, Rhett, that (and points at everything while saying it), bye bye, uh oh, and all done.

Recently, she has really started cruising.  She loves to play pattycake, and loves to clap all the time.  She loves to eat, and finally started gaining weight within the last month.  She upgraded to a big girl car seat over the last month.  She can play and play and play until her heart's content.  She still thinks her brother is the most hilarious thing ever.  She gives her daddy THE biggest and THE sweetest smile that could just melt anyone's heart (and I think it often does melt his).  Mommy still seems to be her go-to for comfort, when she's hungry or tired.  And, that's still ok in my book!

She is such a sweet little girl, and we just love her so very much!

Here's a little video to show off her clapping skills!
