MOPS

Rhett and I started MOPS today! What a fun time! I decided that Rhett needed a little classroom experience, but was hesitant to start preschool this year, so I figured MOPS would be a good transition into a preschool or MDO program next year. I was a little nervous for Rhett to be in a classroom/nursery-like setting for the first time for 3 hours, but he did GREAT! I texted Jeremy afterwards and told him that my heart was bursting with pride for my little guy! He just seemed to know exactly what to do. Of course, it probably helped that his cousin, Dylan, was in the same classroom. None the less, he used the potty for the caretaker, they did a craft, planted some seeds, and colored some flowers. I really enjoyed my side of MOPS too! We had a speaker from a local mom's group who spoke to us about the effects of gossiping. What a powerful message! It really made me stop and think. I think I am going to really enjoy attending these meetings and am looking forward to the next one! I think Rhett is too. He kept talking about his "friends" at his "school"!

Enjoy pics of my little man on our way to MOPS:
Horrible pic of me, but I thought it was so funny how he strained his head to be in the pic with me!He overslept, so he had to eat in the car, and his hair was still wet when we arrived!
Saying bye bye in his classroom!I know this pic is blurry, but when we were leaving our session to go get our kiddos, we could hear squeals and laughter coming from the classrooms, and they sounded all too familiar. When I turned the corner, the class were chasing bubbles. Rhett was having so much fun, that he collided with another little boy and they both ended up on the ground. See that plaid blur, that's my baby!
So proud of his first work of art!
