Saturday, we ended our celebrations by meeting up with my Dad's extended family (he has 6 brothers and sisters) at El Fenix in downtown Dallas. I think there were 30 people in all in attendance. That wasn't even the entire family! As we were leaving, Graham Harrell, the Texas Tech quarterback walked in. I was so excited and probably acted a little like a fool. He is probably the closest thing to a celebrity that I have run into in a long time, so it was the highlight of my evening! Darn it, that I didn't have my camera!

10 years!
10 years ago today Jeremy asked me to be his girlfriend! Now, we are married and have a baby! My how time flies, but I have thoroughly enjoyed myself over the past 10 years. We have had some fun times, sad times, crazy times, scary times, but through it all, he has been my best friend, my confidant, my rock, and the greatest love of my life! I am so thankful for my wonderful husband who puts up with all of my crazy Christmas decorations, shopping habits, blogging addictions, slow weight loss since Rhett, stretch marks, phone conversations and so much more. Every time I think of him, my heart swells with love. I could never put into words the feelings that my heart holds for him, but I hope that my actions show him. I LOVE YOU JEREMY! Happy Unofficial Anniversary! Thank you for a wonderful 10 years, I am looking forward to the next 50!

Wrap it Up!
With only a few days left until Christmas, I am hurriedly getting the last of my wrapping finished. I guess I didn't purchase enough ribbon, so I got creative with the last of my presents. I had left over grosgrain, ric rac, and pompom trim in the colors of my decor, so I decided to use them for some fun embellishments. I hope you like the way the all turned out! I actually like it better than the ribbon I purchased!
Please excuse the blue and brown damask. It is also my FIL's birthday, so as I was wrapping, I tossed his present under the leopard tree as well. (Should've moved it before taking pictures!)

Christmas Cards
My friend, Summer, is very creative and has her own freelance design business. She did some amazing Christmas cards for me this year and I think I will use her for Rhett's birthday invitations too. She did exactly what I wanted, and it was all done over the internet, as she lives about 5 hours from me! I am so pleased with the outcome and if you are in the market for any Christmas cards (I know it is a little late, but there is always next year!), invitations, or other print/design needs, check her out. Her blog is Pickles and Apples and her design site is Chocolate Box Designs. She also has some stuff on ETSY. She has beauty and talent and some pretty cute kiddos too!
Oh, and here is a preview of this year's Christmas card.
The actual image also includes our last name at the bottom, but I edited it out for privacy purposes.

6 months old
Rhett turned 6 months old last Saturday when we were in Disney. He is growing and changing and getting more and more fun every day! He weighed in at a whopping 2o lbs. and 29.5" long! He is a big boy. He is sitting up really well and began eating puffs and drinking from a sippy cup. He is such a joy and I truly don't know what my life would be like without him.

Rhett's First Vacation
WARNING: LOTS OF PICTURES!!!
Rhett did great on the plane ride and all in all was a wonderful traveler. It was so funny to see his face as we boarded planes, buses, shuttles, and rides. The look on his face was one of "I'm supposed to be here doing this. This is nothing new to me."
Here are some pics from our trip. We enjoyed two character breakfasts while we were there. I know that Rhett didn't understand who or what these life size characters were all about, but he seemed to like them. He kept reaching for their faces and they would kiss him on the head.
As you can see, the Florida humidity worked its magic on my hair!

Rhett fell asleep at a musical dinner show we went to.

We met up with Heather and Marc while we were there.
Rhett and me at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.
Rhett fell asleep on most of the rides.
All of the kids dressed alike each day we were there. This made it very easy to spot your party in a large crowd.
We took a picture in front of this exact same spot 6 years ago on our honeymoon. We decided to take this pic to see how much 6 years has changed us. Now that Rhett is in the picture, I think it has changed us for the better!
This was a life size Santa made out of legos at Downtown Disney.
Disney is doing "The Year of a Million Dreams". They go around the park and pick people at random to give special privileges, prizes, etc. They stopped Jeremy and the boys when they were exiting a ride and gave them all mouse ears.
I loved this Christmas display. The legs actually moved as if they were the Radio City Rockettes.
This display had 3 million lights. It was someone's actual display at their home in Arkansas. It was AMAZING!
Rhett got to visit with Santa while we were there. He didn't seem afraid.
Our last day there and Rhett's 6 month birthday!!!!!

Mom's Christmas House

Forgot to post the pics of my parent's house at Christmastime yesterday. My mom has a big 10 ft. tree and I love it. Her home always looks so beautiful at Christmastime, and since she doesn't have a blog, I wanted to share!
She also has a small tree with blue and white china and teacups on it in her kitchen, but I don't have any pictures of it.
