For some reason, these pics loaded all kinds of crazy out of order. So, if you care to follow along, I'll try to explain!
On the Monday before Halloween, we went to our friend Ella's Halloween party. Rhett wanted to dress as a football player, so we pulled this costume out of his closet. GG already had the cheerleader uniform, so it worked out great!
On Halloween morning, the Great Pumpkin visited with treats for my kiddos! Rhett was so funny because he kept getting out of bed and trying to peek at what I was setting up in the kitchen that night. The next morning, he had completely forgotten about it, walked right past the kitchen, and turned on the TV. We had to remind him. Silly boy!
We went to the Pumpkin Patch on the day before Halloween. There are 2 major ones less than 10 minutes from my house, and somehow we barely squeezed in one visit this year! Shameful!
First house Trick or Treating
Monster Mile 2012
We did our civic duty and VOTED!
These were the treats that I made for all of the friends in Rhett's class. Thank you, Pinterest and Target Dollar Spot!
All of Rhett's class in costume for Dress Up Day!
We had a little birthday celebration for my mom on the night that our neighborhood hosts a big trick or treat parade called Monster Mile.
My pink lady cruising the Monster Mile in style!
We also served chili and fixins for the Monster Mile.
And had a DIY s'more bar. I bought this little cooking flame thing at Wal Mart, and it worked pretty good for those who wanted s'mores.
I saw this idea on Pinterest, too, and made up two for Rhett's teachers as a little Halloween gift. I attached a little pumpkin tag that read, "Thank you for taking care of my little pumpkin". I loved this little idea, and had to make myself one, too.
All ready for Dress Up Day at school. I promised him he could dress up as whatever he wanted to for school and other parties, if he would only match his sister on Halloween. He obliged, and I love looking back on all of his costumes this year! And, it helps keep the important costume from getting torn up, so it is actually wearable on Halloween night.
And, my Mr. Cool on Halloween night. Here his doing a Fonzy move, and saying "Heeeeeey".
